Endpoint Protection

Dear all,
i used SEP 11(symentec endpoint protection)  in my Windows server 2003. recently my server attackts "W32 downadup virus" but my Antivirus not catch this virus. so thats way  virus spread all my network workstation .  at that time i used" W32 downdup virus remover tool" , this tool catch this virus and delete this virus but this virus regenarate rendomly . i tried to protect my server through upgrading my SEP 11 but its not working   Plz any one help me . i am very much distrubing with this virus....

all the systems connected in the LAN should be updated with Microsoft patches and AV should be updated with the latest signature.

i download w32 downadup remover tool , . i scan all my work station through this tool. its detect the virus. and quantrine the effected file . after few time all wokstation rapidly virus detection  notification in every workstation. its too much distrubing for user.
i always upgrade my server  SEP 11 (its automtically upgrade). right now its not shown HOME/MONITOR/REPORT/ in his browser.

plz give me soluation. whatever i do. i attach my SEP 11 picture ... plz see this

Please disable windows Enhanced security if it is enabled. Restart the SEPM service and then try to login to SEPM

also plese open a new thread for this issue of" Page cannot be displayed"

thanks for your help. now i have problem is that my SEP 11 home page not Display . every time i click in SEP 11 home page , but it nothing to show. plz help me about that matter.

For Windows Server 2003:

You can disable Internet Explorer Enhanced Security Configuration from within Add or Remove programs:

Open the Control Panel

Open Add or Remove Programs

Select Add or Remove Windows Components

From within the list uncheck Internet Explorer Enhanced Security Configuration

Click Next

Click Finish

 

 

For Windows Server 2008:

You can disable Internet Explorer Enhanced Security Configuration from within the Server Manager:

Open the Server Manager

Highlight Server Manager in the left-pane at the top

In the right-pane, under Security Information, click Configure IE ESC

Turn the Administrators & Users options Off

Click OK
