The client-only patches are BAD!!! I've tried to update 12.1.4112 to the 12.1.5 64-bit patch on three different machines (two at work, one at home), and the update patch crashes every single time, and my client never gets updated. One would figure there'd be some quality control, but I guess not. Run the patch (on Win7 and Win8, I've tried both), and the Program Compatibility Assistant pops up with "This program might not have installed correctly", and I never get the usual "Symantec Endpoint Protection requires a reboot" message after all the previous other client patches. Guess I'll have to see if the full version 2.1 Gig is any better after we get it at work because the 648 MB zip patch files don't work at all.
