    The client-only patches are BAD!!! I've tried to update 12.1.4112 to the 12.1.5 64-bit patch on three different machines (two at work, one at home), and the update patch crashes every single time, and my client never gets updated. One would figure there'd be some quality control, but I guess not. Run the patch (on Win7 and Win8, I've tried both), and the Program Compatibility Assistant pops up with "This program might not have installed correctly", and I never get the usual "Symantec Endpoint Protection requires a reboot" message after all the previous other client patches. Guess I'll have to see if the full version 2.1 Gig is any better after we get it at work because the 648 MB zip patch files don't work at all.

    Sep64_4156To5337_clientDAXMSI fails.

    I could be wrong, but it seems the firewall in 12.1.5 is a bit off. Never saw this before then but now it blocks my wireless printer, tells me traffic from NTOSKrnl is being blocked, blocks applications that it didn't in 12.1.4 (or at least notifies me all the time about the blocks). Going back to 12.1.4112. Not a fan so far of the 12.1.5 traffic firewall. Kind of annoying.
