    Regards,

On some of my servers in the path: \ ProgramData \ Symantec \ Symantec Endpoint Protection \ 14.0.1904.0000.105 \ Data \ IPS

There is a file with the name: netstat.db-wal which is occupying in some cases more than 10GB of disk space.

I only present this problem on some servers that have Endpoint Protection installed 14.0.1904.0000.105

Why does this file take up so much space?

Can it continue to grow in size?

Unsure what it is but you may want to get a case open for support to have a look.

Running the SymDiag tool on an affected system may show if there are issue or not.

The file is temporary Apparently since it reduced its space, I just sent update again and ready, but if the file is going to continue to grow in the future it can be a headache.

    Thank Brian.!

Hey guys, I’m having this issue as well and I tried to remove and reinstall SEP, use a standalone version (not managed by SEPM) and is still doing the same. Could you please let me know what was the resolution? Thanks!

    Hi,

Through SEPM I sent the update to the Server and the file was updated and after that it had a space of KB, remember the .db-wal files is a temporary database file created by SQLite.

    Hello,

I am also having this issue on one of our servers and I tried updating it through SEPM and did not resolve the issue.

What exactly did you push to the server or is there another way to fix this issue?

    Thanks!
