Hi all, I have Windows 10 Enterprise Edition with SEP 12.1.6 (12 RU6 MP5) build 7004 (12.1.7004.6500). I have some problems to identify what's blocking me to join a homegroup. When I disable all network threat protections systems, everything works fine. I've manually created all the rules allowing traffic to and from every single port involved in HomeGroup without succes. Any kind of help would be really appreciated. Thanks

Does anything show in the traffic log on the client?

Create an allow all rule and move it to the top of the rule stack, does that work?

Hi... thanks for your time. It doesn't work. I've also tryed removing every single rule but neither work. Finally I stop all network threat protections and HomeGroup start responding. The problem occurs in my company's laptopt which has an audit software, so when I stop the firewall I receive a message to start it again whitin the next 15 minutes or the app start it automatically. When this happens, (Firewal is started again) the homegroup stop responding. In fact, the real error that appears is "This PC is currently unavailable". Thanks.

Don't remove firewall rules, this will cause traffic to be blocked. Create an allow all rule and move it to the top. See if that allows traffic.

Is anything showing in the Traffic log on the client?
