Endpoint Protection

On LAN Network SEP works fine, but when I switch to wireless, SEP service in client stop works after 3 minutes.

Do you now what is the cause? In logs on windows or Symantec I didn't see nothing, and reinstall and remove didn't help.

Operating System is Windows 8.1 and Windows 10.

SEPM 12.1.6 (12.1 RU6 MP5, build 12.1.7004.6500)

Endpoint is 12.1.7004.6500.

Any help will be appreciated.

Do you have a screenshot? What shows in the System log on the client?

Are these managed clients and when you switch to wifi cani t still contact the SEPM?

Here is example of errors:

Download insight is malfunctioning.

Proactive threat protection is disabled.

virus and spyware protection is disabled

Service sometimes recovers after crashing, but sometimes it is necesary to restart services manually.

Run the SymDiag tool after the SEP client is switched over to wifi and the service quits:

Download SymDiag to detect Symantec product issues

It may not show anything additional than what you already know, but, it may...

Another option would be enable advanced logging (via SymDiag) and re-produce the issue:

Use advanced debug logging options for the Symantec Endpoint Protection client in SymDiag

 You could attach the output here but it may be best to open a support case so their experts can review the logs.
