    Hello,

does anybody have experience with SEP environments larger than 150.000 SEP clients?
Especially I'm interessting in Database sizeing and SEP Manager server sizeing?
How much server should I use? And much more info if possible.

Maybe someone have sizeing and infrastructure Tipps.

    Thank you in advance

    Hi,

thank you for that interessting database info.
By the way, when we plan a database like that in 4 locations this can be covered by SQL Server, but have anybody expirience about fail over management of a database in that scenario?

Furthermore if someone have information about sep manager information would be very helpful ;-)

    Thank you

What kind of information are you looking for in regards to  Failover and SEP Manager ?
Is it the size or any other info ?

in case of 150.000 clients you must have a number of sep managers. from that point there is no problem, but when you plan to have more sites (different infrastructure locations) you must have the same database.
so for example you have 10 server in new york and 10 server in los angeles. in case that a one cluster is broken the database fails over to los angels.

    or a link is broken

    thank you in advance

If the number of sites are less than the server, you may want to pair-off locations based on bandwidth, number of clients per site and other factors that would affect daily operations caused by all the clients connecting to the servers (assuming that no schedules have yet been made).
Same goes for the database and the replications whcih can be done using SEP.
