    Hello,

I have a client running Symantec Endpoint Protection (v 11.0.2000.1567) on SBS 2003.

We've recently upgraded all the PCs to Windows 7.

I had a lot of grief trying to deploy the client to these machines - I ended up manually installing LiveUpdate on each machine, then the client on each machine.

This seemed to work fine, and updated successfully.

I'm back on-site, and Symantec is no longer installed on any PCs.

    What could have happened?

    Thanks,

    Amber

Some one might have uninstalled it manually. Go toEvent viewer in computer  management, and look at the application logs.

The issue you are talking about regarding installation on Win 7, is resolved in RU6 or higher.

Users don't have the ability to uninstall software.

And it isn't one PC - it's every PC on the network.

That version of SEP is very old and will not run on Windows 7. You need to upgrade, the latest version available is RU6 MP2 (11.0.6200.754). You can download the software from your Fileconnect account. Note: Windows 7 support was added in RU5.
