    We would like to move SEP to another server.  What would be the best practice for this so we do not lose our data, settings...etc?

    If you're going to replace the SEPM with a beefier machine (same IP and hostname, just a hardware update), the link that Chetan posted will work.

    If you're installing the SEPM on a completely different machine (different IP and hostname), this document is going to be quite helpful:
