    Hi Guys,

I face the strange problem with the Symantec endpoint version 12.1.6318.6100. First the symantec installed on windows 7 then it upgraded to windows 10, at this point, the symantec was running normally but when we patch the windows 10 to latest patch (win 10 version 1703), the symantec became error and we uninstalled it. unfortunatelly, we could not install it back, and then we installed with higher version but when we installed it, the network interface of PC was not be able to be red even the symantec run normally. So the symantec was uninstalled again and the network interface is normal again.

The PCs now dont have any endpoint protection, I have tried another endpoint to protect the PCs temporarelly, but it can not be installed due to latest symantec not clearly uninstalled.

Please help me out of this problem, because we dont either install the symantec endpoint or other product endpoint.

    Regards,

    Ahmad S

You're using a version of SEP that is not supported on the latest Windows 10 build. See here:

    http://www.symantec.com/docs/TECH235458

You need to use at least 12.1.6 MP5.

    Hi Ahmad,

Brian is correct. You are on older version. I am using version 14 and work fine.

You can use CleanWipe to complete uninstall.

    Hi Guys,

Thanks for the response. Actually we had used clean wipe to complete uninstall the version 12.1.6 but it didnt work. And some client could be installed with newer version but some client not.

I also tried to uninstall manually, checking registry and folder one by one but all completely gone. I used microsoft uninstaller but it didnt work as well, has anyone faced same problem?

    Regards,
