Is Symantec File Share Encryption integrated with Symantec DLP Network Discover/Protect the right solution?

    Hi,

     

    I have a client who requires an "Encryption solution that will automate the process of file Encryption when Private or Confidential information is detected". 

     

    They have all Linux/Unix based servers in their enviroment and data is located at Network Shares.

     

    From the limited knowledge i have about Encryption solutions from Symantec, i am thinking of proposing Symantec File Share Encryption integrated with Symantec DLP Network Discover/Protect for fulfilling their needs.

     

    Can someone please guide me if this is the right combination of solutions as per customer's needs described above?

     

    I also need to confirm whether Symantec DLP Network Protect will have the capability to encrypt the files containing confidential data discovered through Symantec DLP Network Discover scan?

    Hey Jawad,

    you might want to check DLP 12.5 or 14.0 whats new guide. I am sure there is something related to this.
