By the way, we don't have a DHCP server connected Symantec server.

What happens on the PC when it reboots for the imaging job? How far into the PXE process does it get?

It just enters the windows screen again. The PXE process is not going through.

Is there any other way to create an image or backing up the image without DHCP server?

I think PXE needs the DHCP server as the PXE client can't get an IP address to communicate with otherwise. But you can use a Boot Disk or Automation Partition with a fixed IP address I think.

    Mardy,

The original issue you were running into is due to the client machine not being set to boot to pxe by default in the bios. When this is not set it will continuously boot to the production environment and then error out after a few attempts.

Second issue... I have never seen this error but... Ghost runs into spanning issues due to one of two scenarios. If the image file is corrupted/renamed or a lack of priveledges when accessing the image file location. I would suggest creating a new forum post for this issue.
