    Hi,

    I tried installing an Agent on the client computer. But in status it shows "the network path was not found". Even when i tried discovering the machine through IP by PING it shows the task as complete but shows total devices processed as 0. Kindly help as I am not able to push the Agent.

    It's hard to tell from the limited information you supply, but what OS is the computer running? Could you install the agent by accessing \\server\nscap and install it manually?

    Do you have a local firewall on the computer and does your local security policy allow remote users to logon?

    It sounds like the computer refuse a remote connection from the server.

    The computer is a Windows XP. We are able to access URL  \\server\nscap but have not tried installing it as we want to use Push method. We have disabled firewall services.
