  • 1.  Symantec Management Console Silverlight Problem

    Hi,

    We have a enviroment wiht Client Management Suite 7.1.  This version uses silverlight console. But when i access the menu: Manage>Software appear the old console, similiar of version 7.0:

    Instead of appear the real console, for example:

    This image I captured from a VMWare.

    Other functions that use silverlight are running normally. Only software menu not running with silverlight.

    I uninstalled the silverlight, reset IIS and repair the solutions installed. In the Altiris log viewer no appear any error and the log agent too.

    Any ideia?

    Find the Activity Center MSI located at C:\Program Files\Altiris\Symantec Installation Manager\Installs\Altiris, right click on it and choose Uninstall.  Then run that same MSI in a command prompt:

    "C:\Program Files\Altiris\Symantec Installation Manager\Installs\Altiris\altiris_activitycenter_7_1_x64.msi" SKIPAIM=1

    Even after the MSI quits, configuration is still going on in the background so give it a couple of minutes before opening the console.

    Thaks for help. Now, all functions of silverlight are running!
