  • 1.  Symantec Messaging Gateway Alert - A service is not responding or working

    Hi,

    We keep getting this alert every 30mins:

    ======================= ALERT NOTIFICATION ================================              

     

    The following system components are not responding/working:

     

    Host                     Component                Problem

    ---------------------------------------------------------------------------

    sgw1                     AGENT                    Stopped

    ---------------------------------------------------------------------------

    I have tried rebooting the apllication but no luck. Any advises please?

    I have been getting those on my physical SMGs since upgrading to 10.6.4-3 with patch 271. Maybe there's a new patch coming to fix this. Woohoo

    I removed the patch 271 then re-applied 271. Fixed it for me. Woohoo
