Symantec Messaging Gateway - Sender e-mail is blocked but no info/log in SMG

    Hi

    Sender cannot send e-mail. His message was not delivered.

    When I've checked Meesage Audit Log or System Log I couldn't finy any info about this SMTP connection or this e-mail, why it was not delivered. I've checked all quarantines too.

    Where can I found all information why Symantec Messaging Gateway refuse this message?

    I've got a sender e-mail address and receiver e-mail address and I know the time when this e-mail was send. How use this piece of information to diagnoze the problem?

    Hi Tomasz,

    Search the message audit log for the connection ip of the sending server.

    Usually its the ip of the mx record.
