Can someone tell me if the Symantec Protection Engine for Cloud Services and the Symantec Protection Engine for Sharepoint Servers can utilize the same virus defintions files? I would like to put these 2 products on the same server.

The Protection for SharePoint Services utilizes Protection Engine for the virus scanning, so they are already both on the same server.

Here is a link to our Implementation Guide with more information on how the product functions:

Only on a 32-bit operating system can Scan Engine use the same definitions as Endpoint 11.

I am using SEP 12.1.2 on the servers these 2 SEP Engines will live on. I am aware that these Engines can not share definitions with SEP 12. Just want to know if the 2 Engines ( Sharepoint and Cloud) can share definitions......

The Protection for SharePoint Services product doesn't use virus definitions. It sends file scan requests to Protection Engine.
