  • 1.  Symantec Reporter vmware 6.5 compatibility

    Hey there,

     

    we would like to update the vmware 5.5 to 6.5. Unfortunately, I can not find any information about the compatibility of the Symantec Reporter-VA (version 10.2.1.4) with the vmware version 6.5.

    Is anyone able to help me?

    Hi Janika,

     

                    The support for 6.5 is yet to be confirmed. As far as I can see from internal notes, this is not yet a supported host version. There were some customer reports mentioning that installing reporter in 5.5 and then upgrading the ESX to 6.5 made it to work. I wouldn't be recommending it though.

                      I don't have much visibility to the product planning. You may want to pass this query to an SE (Sales Engineer) for your region.
