    PGP reporting status

I have a simple quesiton but I cannot seem to find this information in any of the documentation.

    The situation:

We are attempting to validate that all the machines on the network have PGP installed and the local hard drive(s) are encrypted.  We are using KACE (Dell product) to verify the installation.  We continue to have mixed information returned in regards to PGP status.  One scan may result in a "Encrypted" staus and the next scan will indicate a "Partial" status.

I would like to understand what the following status mean and why they could change:

    1) Partial

    2) Decrypted

    3) NoDisk

    4) NoPGP

    5) Encrypted

    6)  <blank> (empty)

If someone could either explain them or point to the documentation source I would greatly appreciate it.

    Thank you.

Moving this thread to the PGP forum for greater visibility.

I am not familiar with the KACE software, and would wonder if the variation might be due to it instead of the actual PGP encryption status.  You can use the command line usage in this Knowledge Base Article to assess the disk encryption status on those disks getting the changing status.
