I have a version 11 SEMP but I also have an older Legacy installation of Version 9 for some very old Windows 95/98 clients. (no they can't be upgraded they are running proprietary software/just to answer that question :) )
Frankly, I don't interact with the virtual server that I have the version 9 server product on very often. It's used by one of our branches so to my knowledge, no changes.
Here's what's happening:
On trying to unlock an existing (and formerly working) server group I get: "Can't communicate with the server group" Verify network connectivity and that machines are operating within the group" If problem persists, try cleaning the server group cache and re-discovering all server groups.
I've dumped the server cache and tried an aggressive discovery. I still get the same error. I've asked the remote guy to double check that he has no network issues on this segment.
I'm rather stuck, what else can I look at. If I can't unlock the server group I can't see or deal with anything.
(I really don't want to have to regenerate all the certificate info if I don't really have to/ aside from having to dig out "those instructions" from my archives)
