Can any one tell, why symantec has not released virus definitions for today.

You can wait some time may be some problem on symantec side deifnation related.Once symantec released defination SEPM automatic update latest defination.

According to the site there is no new release avialble. Symantec is release the defintion according to new virus sample update. Delay may be because any testing is in progress or some internal issue occur.

Today the same issue is running in site but the Rapid release defintion is updated on daily bases.

I recommend you to update the Rapid release defintion.
