    Hi Zubair,

the guideline for SWG in terms of sizing is users, not connections.

    Hi,

I am also new to SWG.  I read the SWG guide (http://www.symantec.com/docs/TECH144596  ).  I would like to monitor my SWG traffic statistics.

    1) May I know where I can find the traffic usage?

    2) If I want to monitor the traffic using MRTG or other SNMP tools, what are the SNMP MIBs/OIDs supported?

    Thanks.

You can see the Raw Traffic Processed under Reports -> Executive Summary and apply some filters like Date. More detailed reports with breakdown by protocol, URL, is expected to be available on a future release.

As for SNMP you can get the MIBs from the SWG GUI under Administration -> Configuratiion -> SNMP. You have the help option on that page for more information and also the Implementation Guide that includes a section called "About monitoring Symantec Web Gateway using SNMP".
