    Since updating my Deployment Solution server to the latest update (8.1 RU6), my computers are being added to the domain with random sysprep names instead of the name listed in inventory.  Before, when I'd image a Windows 10 computer, after booting back to production, DS would rejoin the computer to the domain under then name in inventory from when the job started.  Now, it seems that sysprep is randomizing the name (as it does), and the computer is checking into DS under that name, updating the inventory, and then joining the domain under that random name.

     

    Is anyone else running into this issue and is there a solution?

    I'm having the same problem - running 8.1 RU3.  Deploying a fresh Win10 x64 1709 image and the PC doesn't get renamed properly despite the unattend.xml not changing and including the correct computer name token.  I end up with random sysprep computer names after image is deployed and the PC has rebooted and gone through OOBE.

    Did you solve this?
