    Posted Sep 11, 2012 11:31 AM

    Hello,

we are running SEP 12.1.671.4971 in an vmware enviroment with virtual servers running server 2008r2.

Now when i assign a usb device to on of those servers the explorer.exe crashed and after a few minutes the server gets inaccesable. After we uninstalled SEP the system was running stable. We do have regulations for usb for clients but for the server group we do not have any regualtions on usb.

    any ideas?

Do you have the application and device control component installed?

Also, you're running the first version of 12.1. The latest is RU1 MP1.

What is the bugcheck number you get?

What if you go in safe mode with networking, it may or may not be a SEP issue,
