    Hi,

    One of our EndPoint Protection Client has below error messages every few hours. This happend for more than 1 month. Updates seems to be fine with the latest virus defination etc.

    System Log > “The latest Revocation Data update failed to load. The component will continue to use its previous content.”

    Revocation Data is different from AV update.

    If it's continously failing, work with the technical support team.

    I have tried to create a Case but Symantec system does not allow me to do it and they have manually created a case for me to solve my problem of "Cannot Create Case". Thats why I post this issue in this forum.

    Try with latest version try sep 12.1 Ru6 mp6 or 14.0. on the system.

    Already using sep 12.1 RU6 MP6. Tried repair 2 times as well.

    I thought v14 are still in RTM, not yet a stable release to public?

    14 was released at the end of October. You should've received an upgrade notification email with your new serial. If no, call support.

    Going to 14 doesn't guarantee this will fix it. You'll still want to get a support case open.

    Thanks Brian. Finally I have successfully created the Case for Symantec regarding issue in this subject and also the v14 serial number.

    Hi Michael, Yes. Their support has remotely guide me to fully uninstall the Symantec using the cleaning tool available in the Symantec installed folder or you can download from their website. Then reinstall Symantec. Issue does not appear again.
