    I have two Atlriis server, one is call AltirisServer(NS7.1) , another is call AltirisServer1 (NS7.0), all the machines are in NS7.1 filter, but when I install new machine with Altiris Agent, it alway show the task server is point to AltirisServer1.

    Is any way I can query how many machines still point to old AltirisServer1 for Task server?

    Can we some kind of script to change all the problem machines point it to right Task Server: AltirisServer?

    To find out how many machines are still pointed at the older server there are a couple canned reports you can use:
    • Reports > All reports > Server > Count of computers by server - drill down by right clicking
    • Reports > All reports > Task server > Status > Task server summary - Drill down by double clicking.
    • Or use the attached SQL query to list all managed clients assigned to specific task server http://www.symantec.com/docs/HOWTO84983

    There are also numerous ways to point these machines to the new server:
    • You could uninstall the agent , by doing an Uninstall. Then push the agent with the correct server name.
    • Redirect the clients by using http://www.symantec.com/docs/TECH127618

    I would like to find out how many machines still point to old task server with IP address, name, domian, Os name, then if I have all the machines name, then how can I change to correct task server with SQL
