Is there any limitation for a network with 1000 computers to use SQL 2008 express as CMS 7 database?

    Is there any limitation for a network with 1000 computers to use SQL 2008 express as CMS 7 database? I checked and found some information that limitation of concurrent connection is 32000 and one CPU. But for such a network, one CPU and  6GB memory should be ok. any advice please?

    I do not recommend.

    This will be your first problem: Maximum database size of 4 GB per database (10 GB for SQL Server Express 2008 R2 and above)

    And this will be the performance killer: Maximum 1GB RAM.

    Hi,

    SQL Express Edition is recommended only for evalutation purposes because the HW limitations, like Lippi sad.
