    How can we request to include a new version of third-party AV on the current supported version list?

    You could raise a supprt case and see if they could add it.

    I have a ticket for this one already and support is suggesting this http://www.symantec.com/docs/TECH215657

    But this seems to be unlikely implemented by Symantec as it needs "other members of the Symantec Connect forum to view the content and vote for the idea.  The more votes and idea has, the higher the possibility it has of being implemented in to future versions of the product."

    We need to have a definite time for implementation of new supported versions of third-party AV for removal.

    Yes, I also tried it for Microsoft Security Essentials a few years ago but due to lack of votes, it did not happen. We ended up doing an uninstall via GPO startup scripting.
