    Hello,

    In the past, one of our customer's mailserver got compromised and then you blocked it somehow, this may be the reason why connections from MTA to MTA get timeouts. 

    The customers server in question is: v1002.lhisp.com

    Can you please tell me why there is a timeout?

    Hi Jerome

    Looking at it it seems the IP 185.36.180.58 was being throttled by our services. This only happens if we've seen spam coming from an IP.

    For the moment I have cleared the throttling, but I recommend they check to ensure that any compromises they have had are fully resolved as if we see anything that appears to be spam coming from that IP the throttling will increase again.

    Thank you for your fast response! Communication between the MTA's is working again!

    We triple-checked the server, there is actually no problem anymore.
