  • 1.  Transaction Process ID was deadlocked on lock resources

    I am having issued deleting stale computers from our Deployment Solution.  I am able to to delete one or two computers then I get an error message stating the following:  Transaction (Process ID XX) was deadlocked on lock resources with another process and has veen chosen as the deadlock victim.  Rerun the transaction.  I am fairly new to the DS and SQL.  What can I do to solve this issue.

    Hi Randye,

    Witch version is your Deployment Server? Are the DS and SQL in the same server?

    Hi Fabio,

    DS is version 6.9 and yes, the SQL is on the same server.

    The issue of not able to delete stale computer objects because those stale objects had pending jobs attached to the object.  Once I killed the pending jobs, then I was successfully able to delete the computers.
