    Unable to transfer client to group.

    ​The operation can't be completed An unexpected error occurred (error code: 500)

    ​Get this on all client I try to transfer.

    When did it start and how long have you been trying? I've had ths happen a few times but it must've been on the symc side as I tried again later on and it was fine.

    It was also occuring on Friday, and it still happening today.

    I am on a software trial.  As product does not work. I just won't buy it.

    Try settings>Subscription.

     

    Uncheck the box for "Show Active Only"

    Hit the button to transfer.

    Transfer your subscription to the destination group.

    The box is grayed out.


    ​Maybe doing it wrong.  But how do i move computer in the Default Group to Custom Group?  
    ​I see devices in default group,  click down arrow and select transfer.  Change to Groups, then select custom group, and I get error The operation can't be completed An unexpected error occurred (error code: 500).

    Sounds like something is broken on your account. We'd need a support case to investigate on our backend and get it fixed for you.
