  • 1.  Trial User Password not Valid

    I have downloaded the Symantec Encryption Desktop Corporate Trial Download and received a 50+ digit license number to user the site for my trial period, yet I am getting an invalid license number.  The license number field is only 28 digits so I can't understand what the issue may be.  When I contacted Symantec, I was informed that this is the only place who would offer me any support since it was a trial version yet I am not even offered a chance to use the software.  Has anyone else had the same issue?

    The trial generally includes two licenses, one for server, and one for desktop, and they should be separated by a comma or semicolon. It can be difficult to distinguish, and you may have even received a set of keys without a separation, as I have seen that a couple times, but I don't think it should apply any longer.

    Try both "halves" of the key, and see which one works.  Hope that helps.
