  • 1.  Trouble with installation

    Hi,

     

    When I try to install the Symantec Endpoint Encryption on windows server 2008 R2 standard SP1,  I'm getting the following error: Can you please help?

     

    The wizard was interrupted before symantec endpoint encryption could be completely installed.your system has not been modified, To complete installation at another time please try again.

     

    NOTE: I have also attached the screenshot of the Error.

    Hi,

    If there is an AV installed, disable it and try the installation again.

    This is for the Management Server installation, right?  Can you run through the below and verify all the pre-reqs are in place please?

    I'd also recommend installing via command line, so you can specify the log file path, and review the logs should it continue to fail (as described on page 27 of the 11.2 Install Guide)
