    Hi,

    I am looking at specific document/links which can guide the issues related to Altiris CMS 7.1 SP1 client troubleshooting related to -

     

    a) Patch Management

    b) Software Distribution

    c) Altiris Agent connectivity with Notification Server

    d) Altiris Agent not reporting Inventory

    e) Specific Log Files at agent reporting the issues related to above

    I haven't seen any specific docs with issues/ resolutions.. I think that's why we use these forums in a pretty good manner, there are a lot of experts / experienced techies out here. One of us would be able to help you, please throw in the issue you face in your world....!

    Yeah there aren't any "here's where to look" documents that I've ever seen.  Once you troubleshoot through the first few issues on your own, you'll start to notice the pattern of where things tend to break down on the server and client side.  If you're having a problem, post it up here.  Maybe also try the support route, but don't expect a lot out of that - I think it's just a good thing if they can add certain problems to their metrics even if they aren't likely to fix it before you can fix it w/some assistance from the forum members.
