Ubuntu Linux Support Suspended until next release

So as a result of the latest Linux kernel updates Logical Volume access via the device mapper in Linux stopped working via PGP whole disk encryption. In effect Linux access for us is now dead. Symantec have fobbed us off with some excuse about it being fixed in the next release in a few months but in the meantime nothing. Pretty poor show I think since if Windows users could suddenly not use their computers at all they would be all over it trying to fix it within hours. This is PGP 10.4 since they can't even be bothered to add Linux support in 11 yet.

I had an earlier post about this and there were no reponses at all by anyone so maybe we're the only Linux users of PGP WDE on the planet and thus the only ones affected. If so then I guess Symantec have made the right call on this. Fair enough. If anyone is reading this at all have you any other FIPS compliant whole disk encryption suggestions that work with Linux? Thanks.
