  • 1.  UK Passport Number rule

    Hi there,

    Looking at the breadth for the rule, Narrow breadth states that the rule detects 9 digit numbers and the presence of a passport related word.

    What are the "passport related" words that trigger a match, is this list available and if so are the "related word" lists available for other rules?

    Thanks

    Ralph

    Hi ralph

     You can use the link "more info" in data identifier rule page, it will give you all details on data identifier definition.

    Ralph,

    If you go into the Data Identifiers section, click the Narrow box. Near the bottom there is a section called Active Validators. Click once on where it starts, Find keywords... In the box above it will give you a list of the keywords as well as the opportunity to modify them.

    Regards,
    Aaron

    Ralph,

    Both of the above answers are correct. The more important question would be if you would rather just view them, or modify them. If you wish to modify them, then definitely open the Data Identifiers and modify as needed. Be casreful when modifying the templates included. One suggestion we generally give customers, is to recreate the built in Data Identifier, then make changes to ensure you always have the original still intact in it's default configuration. There is no way to "recover" them once you've modified them.

    Hi ralf,

    You can define or user below regex rule for detection of UK passport nos which might be 9 digit.

    \d{9}
