Hi i am trying to add drivers to pxe configuration although doesnt seem to be letting me,

they seem to be added under express\..\custom although don't appear when you edit boot disk image can you shed some light on this?

i am trying to image a HP8200 and getting the error "retrying DHCP" which is not recognising the driver.

    thanks in advance

Is this in PE of linux? You can add the drivers by editing the boot environments.

Launch Boot Disk Creator, under the tool menu there is a Import driver.  Make sure you rebuild/update the PXE configuration so the driver is added to the image.

Be sure your loading the correct driver for the OS of the PXE environment.  If your using PXE1.6 thats XP  PXE 2.1 is Vista and not Win7.  See https://www-secure.symantec.com/connect/forums/cms-71-stuck-restarting-dhcp-client-service-when-trying-do-initial-deployment#comment-5192121 for more details.

Also, if your dont have enough RAM on the computer MIN 512mb you will also get the DHCP retry error.

I know it sounds crazy, but if you are doing this under winpe, move your drivers up under the bootwiz folder.  I have had some intermittent problems with paths that are to long or incorrect ....
