  • 1.  Unable to Block few websites using SEP firewall rule

    Hello All,

    I followed the below given article and i was able to Block few websites using Firewall rule.

    https://support.symantec.com/en_US/article.TECH92097.html

     

    however i was unable to block few though. 

    Could anyone comment on this issue ? 

    And how to block all the desired websites.

    Do you have a screenshot of your current rule? The same rule works for some sites but not the ones you listed above?

    Remove 'http://' and 'https://'. It should only be the domain name.

    Hello Kathir@HCS,

     

    For DNS based firewall rules to work, you will need to enable the option ' Enable Reverse DNS lookup'.  See the following articles for more information
