I get a message "unable to control A20 line xms driver not installed". When booting to onboard NIC. I'm booting to a Ghost server. I get to a prompt for All Ghost then I hit enter and Ghost begins to load and then during this proccess I get "unable to control A20 line xms driver not installed"

The system I'm trying to image is a Dell ATG E6420. I noticed this system has an E512 HD..Not sure if this would make a difference.

I can image the ATG E6410 with no problems...

    Hopefully someone can help me!
    Thanks

You have not specified which version of Ghost you are using, but from the error message I would conclude you are booting DOS. The error suggests that HIMEM.SYS is not present in config.sys. If it is, then it may need command line switches added - see here: http://www.ta7.de/txt/dos/dos0015.htm

If HIMEM.SYS is present, then it may not be able to determine the exact hardware being used and the default setting is not working, so you would need to add the /MACHINE switch and try different values until the error disappears.

On which system would I need to add the /MACHINE switch...Would it be in Ghost or the Windows7 PC I'm trying to boot ot Ghost server?

You would add it to the config.sys file on your DOS boot media.

However, I would also suggest you read this thread: https://www-secure.symantec.com/connect/forums/could-not-allocate-page-table-memory-1  specifically the information provided by Nigel Bree, one of the developers of Ghost. You may wish to try using the suggested version of HIMEM.SYS in place of any existing version on your dos boot media as you also have a DELL system.
