Dear I am trying PGP desktop as i have to demonstrate it to one of our customer. I am using a demo version. I have encrypted a pdf file using a key on my laptop. When i take that file to another laptop, i am unable to decrypt the file even after importing the key to the 2nd laptop from the 1st.

    Please guide.

You may just need to right click on the key in PGP Desktop's All Keys, select Key Properties, and set Trust to Implicit.  If you can't set Trust to Implicit, you failed to make the selection to include the private key when you exported the key.

If this does not help, please explain what happens when you attempt decryption, such as having a specific error message.
