Endpoint Protection

I have installed SEPM 12.1.6 (ENDPOINT MANAGER) but I could not download live update file from my SEPM server for my offline pcs (where symantec endpoint protection is installed). Please confirm whether it is possible or not. Need your urgent help on this.

You need to run intelligent updater on those offline PCs. If they're offline they won't be able to get updates from the SEPM. See here: http://www.symantec.com/security_response/definitions/download/detail.jsp?gid=sep

yes that i know but is there any option to download '' LIVE UPDATE FILE'' from my SEPM server

Using the Daily Certified Intelligent Updater

1. Download the Intelligent Updater.
2. Select a language.
3. For the product, select Symantec Endpoint Protection.
4. Locate the correct file to download for Symantec Endpoint Protection depending on whether it is for a 32-bit or a 64-bit operating system.
   
   For example, the file names might look like "20071008-016-v5i32.exe" (for 32-bit) or "20071008-016-v5i64.exe" (for 64-bit).
    
5. Click the file specified for Symantec Endpoint Protection, and download it to your hard drive.
6. Locate the file that you downloaded, and double-click the file to run the Intelligent Updater.

Once SEPM server are updated latest defination sep client automatic updated.

Have you try replace sylink.xml ?

I know the virus definition can be downloaded from the internet but i was trying to do this only because of saving bandwidth ....... thanks 2 all of u

There is no option to download an LU file from SEPM.
