  • 1.  Unable to download PGP policy updates on XP & Win7

    Hi guys,

    i have installed the PGP agent on my pc XP and laptop win 7 to do files & folder encryption.

    but there is a problem with contacting the PGP server for the policy updates.

    i can access that server from my PC on web interface via port 9000.

    firewall has been disabled.i have created a policy which except the PGP on SEP.

    can someone please help.

    Below are the log from the XP PC

    please note that i have installed it on another PC win 7 and the PC is updating the policy correctly.

    So i thank the problem is not with the network component. its with the PC and laptop itself.

    please help me troubleshoot this issue

    You can check on the connection back to the server by going through an enrollment. If that is not the problem you may have a policy issue. We have seen the same issue and found that the policy the user was attached to became corrupt.
