  • 1.  Unable to edit Integrated Authentication URL SD 7.1 SP2

    hello everyone, after adjusting a ServiceDesk installation from http to https, i'm unable to adjust the "Integrated Authentication URL" in the LocalMachineInfo Editor.  any change i make reverts after leaving the input field.

    any tips on how i can adjust my approach in order to properly set this value?

    this step was suggested in this guide.

    That is bizarre. I figured the LocalMachineInfo Editor had to be making some kind of registry or file change when that box is changed, so I opened up Process Monitor and made the chance to see what was going on. It seems to be writing that change to InstallPath\Symantec\Workflow\Server Extensions\localserversetup.xml, so you could try changing that file directly.

    Which version are you using? This may be fixed in a rollup (at least the issue sounds familiar)

    As Reecardo mentioned this issue was discovered and addressed in an Workflow update.  Here is a link to the updated build.

    the platform i'm working with is at version 7.1.1600.37.  I'll try the rollup and report back.  thanks!
