  • 1.  Unable to Install SEP on Remote Machines

    I need to find out how to install SEP on remote machines. I have tried disabling Windows firewall and simple file sharing but this solution only works on the machines connected to the LAN. The OS used for all client machines is Windows XP Pro and the remote machines utilize Citrix.

     

    Any suggestions?

    There are two things you should check.

     

    1) Is  "File and Printer Sharing for Microsoft Networks" checked on the Local Area Network Interface?

    2) From a remote machine, can you connect to the C$ share succesfully using remote credentials?

     

    The SEP remote installation relies on the Microsoft networking to push the agent out and install.
