  • 1.  unable to search client machine on NS Server

    Hi All,
     
    Client machine is already having Altiris Agent installaed.
     
    When we search particular machine from NS we are not able to search them.
     
    Kindly find the details of the enviorment.
     
    NS Server Version: 7.5 SP1
     
    NS OS Version: Windows server 2008 R2 Standard
     
    Client Server Version: Windows server 2003 R2
     
    We have attached the Altiris logs and client logs.
     
    Request you to analyse the same and suggest us for furhter troublsehooting.
     
    From the Altiris log we found that Looking into the agent logs I found the following reoccurring error for the 'Software Update Agent':
    "Unexpected exception caught in OnWakeup()"

     
     
    Kindly let us know how can we proceed to troublshoot further.

    Clients are unable to get New Inventory Rules from Notification Server

    If you mean that you're not able to find this managed endpoint in SMP Console, then check these places:

    Once you will find this resource, then open Resource Manager and check in which policies/filters this resource is available, inventory data, etc.
