  • 1.  unable to uninstall End point

    I'm not able to uninstall Symantic End point from windows 8.1 from Program and features in control panel a message appear for Gathering information then it disappear and when trying to Delete the root folder it tells me I don't have permissions even though I'm the machine administrator

    please help

    Have u try cleanwipe tool ? Please try cleanwipe tool.

    What's the exact version you're trying to uninstall?

    Call support and get the cleanwipe utility to remove it.

    Yes please contact support to get the cleanwipe tool. If a version that was installed on the 8.1 OS was not a supported version for the OS then manual removal steps may be necessary.
