Unable to view Clients after successfull remote installation

    Hi,

I have just purchased GSS 2.0 and installed the Ghost console onto a Vista Businees laptop, every thing appears to be setup correctly as im able to view the computers on the network that i want to deploy the remote client install to, and the remote install works perfectly, which implys the service account set up on our SBS 2003 server is working correctly and the adminsitrator account is working.

The computers that are being remotely installed are all XP service pack 2 machines, single drives, 2 partitions with the second partition being the HP recovery partition.

The icon comes up in the task manager of the clients as trying to locate ghost server(as in server name).

I have changed the network protocols under the LAN manager authentication levels setting to match between computers, and also checked that the C$ is shared for administrative purposes.

I have also made changes to availiable ports etc on firewalls, and confirmed that all local administrator accounts are active, and that simple file sharing is turned off.

An interesting and possibly influencing factor in all this is that using ping under Command prompt the visa machine is able to contact the XP machines but the XP machines are unable to contact the Vista machine.

    Thanks

    In Addition, todays findings,

in frustration and an effort to prove that it was or wasnt Vista causing the issues I uninstalled the Ghost console off the Vista machine and onto another XP machine, did a remote client install to another XP machine and instantly the machine was availiable in the Ghost console.

I then tried a remote install to the Vista machine, it was availiable in the list, but the installation failed almost immediatley.

I have a third of the machines in my organisation about to go with Vista so its critical that i get this sorted out, Help Please...........

    Thanks
