    Symantec Endpoint Protection 12.1.6 MP6

I am silently removing the clients from many machines.  It successfully removes SEP, however users lose connectivity to their network shares until the machine is rebooted.

My question is, what feature of SEP causes the disconnect?

    Is it the teefer2 driver?

What feature could I remove in advance (i.e., Network Threat Protection) in SEPM that would eliminate the share disconnect after SEP is uninstalled?

    Thanks for the help!

It would be the firewall driver, teefer. You can remove only the firewall component which is part of NTP.

if you have NTP installed then it needs a reboot to complete or else these kinds of issues appear
