HI, I HAVE RECENTLY INSTALLED SYMANTEC ENDPOINT SMALL BUSINESS AS UNMANAGED CLIENT ON A PC WITHOUT INTERNET. HOW CAN I UPDATE PROACTIVE AND NETWORK THREAT PROTECTIONS??? I HAVE FOUND THE VIRUS DEFINITIONS BUT NOT THOSE..

There are a few other threads in the forums I found on this that all said that it was not possible to manually download the Proactive Threat Protection or Network Threat Protection updates. Granted these are from the Endpoint Protection (Anti-virus) forums, I would be surprised if they do not apply here. The most recent thread was from July 21st, 2009.

I'm sure this is not the answer you wanted to hear but I hope knowing it helps.

On a computer that is not connected to internet we use the Intelligent updater to update the defntion.

The IU is not capable to update the PTP and NTP defintion. This is by design.

Symantec cannot post the defntion for PTP and NTP  for public  because  if  they ( signatures / Certificate ) are hacked this will be a big threat .

So PTP and NTP only get updated when LiveUpdate runs on the particular computer.

Yes you cannot update PTP and NTP deinitions manually. You will have to connect that computer to internet to get those.
