    Some of Symantec Endpoint Protection clients aren't updating. SEP version is 12.1.3.

    how are the clients supposed to get the updates ?

     

    can you post sylink log if SEPM is the source or LUE log if updates are from internet.

    As you can see, we need a bit more details on your environmelnt, setup and a few logs and screenshots could help, too.

    Enable sylink debugging, let it run for a bit, and post the log here for review

    Hi,

    Check the following points

    1) Clients and SEPM communication is OK. Verify with Ping, telnet & secar test.

    2) SEPM and affected SEP clients have the same serial number.

    3) Are the affected clients into the specific group?

    4) Push the latest content from the SEPM console to affected computers.

    5) Make sure reboot is not pending for affected systems.

    in the client log, it keeps on saying GUP selected, but no update is getting downloaded. communication

    between manager and client is OK. Ran ping, secars test. connection status says connected.

    If communication is OK, confirm client is acting as a GUP or not.
