Hello, we are currently using Deployment Server 6.9 SP2. We are looking at rolling out Windows 7 and although we can get it to work it does involve us having to boot with the Windows 7 media and carring out a start repair each time. So thought we would look at upgrading to 7.1 as it carries support for Windows 7. After doing some research I've only just discovered that we should have already upgraded our system to SP3 then SP5 (just taken over from someone else). I've been to the site to get our availabe upgrades and been able to download SP5 but don't have anything for SP3 so I suppose what I'm really asking is two questions. 1 - Can I upgrade straight to 7.1 and if not 2 - Can I upgrade straight to SP5 then 7.1?
Our system is currently on Windows Server 2008 Standard will this be fine with 7.1? I'm not very jargon friendly so replies in good old plain step by step english would be good if anyone has anything.
